The People & Strategy (P&S) team supports organizations in addressing strategic challenges through the development, implementation and embedding of innovative technologies, business models and approaches.

To support the growth of the P&S team in our Amsterdam office, we are looking for
empowered professionals who specialize in strategy execution, business strategy, organisational design and supply chain management and who are eager and open to learn.

Your role

As a Senior Consultant Business Strategy & Organisational Design at BearingPoint, you (lead/are part of) a multidisciplinary team on challenging assignments within a wide range of clients in the Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Utilities, Postal, Telecommunications or Pharmaceutical sectors. As a team you deliver complex projects that transform the way business is being done.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Leading client engagements from high-level start to actual delivery and realization of predefined objectives
• Delivering training, facilitating workshops, and conducting relevant analyses
• Managing the relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Guiding and coaching clients and colleagues
• Actively thinking with clients about business strategies, development and integration of innovative concepts and technologies, and transformation plans
• Signaling and acting upon the needs of the clients and translate these into projects
• Actively updating yourself with new developments and innovations in the industry and contribute to developing activities for our growing practice within the European BearingPoint network.

Qualifications;

• A relevant Master’s degree, preferably with a technical and/or (organizational) business focus
• Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding
• Proven project management skills
• A representative appearance and proactive, independent attitude
• Excellent communicative skills in both Dutch and English (written and oral) are mandatory
• 3 - 8 years proven and relevant work experience in a similar role as a (internal or external) consultant or relevant business function
• Preferred candidates have experience on topics such as:
• Business Strategy & Transformation
• Organizational Design
• Supply Chain Management
• Experience in at least one of the following industries: Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Utilities, Postal, Telecommunications or Pharmaceutical
