BearingPoint is looking for an experienced professional with an extensive senior network and with proven consulting background in the CGR Industry and Digital field. Someone who clearly connects with our DNA and BearingPoint ‘spirits’: holistic, trusted, entrepreneurial, easy to work with and confident.


Your role

As the Industry leader CGR, you will be responsible for driving new business from new and existing (key) accounts in the CGR market through the sales of professional consulting services (business transformation projects, delivered by our inhouse expertise groups within BearingPoint) IP and support services. You are skilled and knowledgeable in the areas of eCommerce, Digital & Business Transformation and program management. You have a good understanding of the relevant supporting technologies and how data & analytics drives business value. Initiating new projects by opening new accounts or by cross-selling from existing clients, is a core activity. With a clear view on the business challenges, you compose cross-functional teams from our expertise groups (Digital & Strategy, Operations, IT Advisory, Business Analytics) to create proposals and deliver the work.
You show your thought leadership in the industry and help to align our internal expertise to future client demand, all aligned around relevant focus areas you have defined.


Your responsibilities

  • Driving sales in our CGR Industry segment and realizing our financial and people targets within this domain
  • Business development – building a sustainable pipeline of consultancy opportunities;
  • Thought leadership – contribute to building our strong firm wide point of view in CGR and on Digital supply chain topics;
  • Program management – managing your project portfolio and building a strong senior stakeholder network;
  • People & practice development – utilizing your expertise developing differentiating capabilities in the team and relevant propositions;
  • A relevant completed master’s degree;
  • Previous consultancy experience, preferably in a top-tier management consulting organization;
  • Minimum 8+ years’ working experience in business development or sales, of which minimum 5+ years in a business development or digital consultancy role;
  • Established relevant network within the Dutch CGR market;
  • Proven expertise and recognized Industry expert in the CGR segment, with specific understanding of Digital Commerce processes;
  • Demonstrated track record with selling complex business transformation projects in a multi stakeholder environment;
  • Ability to develop go-to market strategy, as well as execute activities in cross functional matrix structure.

Requirements

Your qualifications

An entrepreneurial attitude with a collaborative mindset;

  • A relevant completed master’s degree;
  • Previous consultancy experience, preferably in a top-tier management consulting organization;
  • Minimum 8+ years’ working experience in business development or sales, of which minimum 5+ years in a business development or digital consultancy role;
  • Established relevant network within the Dutch CGR market;
  • Proven expertise and recognized Industry expert in the CGR segment, with specific understanding of Digital Commerce processes;
  • Demonstrated track record with selling complex business transformation projects in a multi stakeholder environment;
  • Ability to develop go-to market strategy, as well as execute activities in cross functional matrix structure;
  • Confidence in negotiation and business terms discussion;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English;
  • A flexible attitude where traveling is no difficulty.
