Digital (IT) Strategy Consultant

Job description

As a consultant, you are always the one interested in aligning business goals with new technology and always looking out for cutting-edge innovation to make lasting impact on organizations. Dealing with C-level decision makers on a strategic level advising them on how to best transform IT challenges into opportunities for their business is just your thing!


Your role

Some examples of strategic cases you will work on together with a team of likeminded professionals;


Case 1:

Answering the following 3 key questions for a global firm:

  • What are the main external developments, both in terms of technology (e.g. personalization, ecommerce and  digital ecosystems) and social integration (C2C, communities)?
  • How strong and futureproof is the current technology platform foundation to both support technology and      social integration?
  • What is the current and potential value of the digital platform, database and technology?

Case 2:

Help the information management department to get more in control again, to connect business and IT and to advise on their technology application landscape. Next to that you work on the roll out of a new digital way of working within the organization.


Case 3:

For a telecom provider, your team does the IT rationalization and migration of their billing capabilities to support the different processes within the organization. You give guidance, advise and does some change management with respect to the billing migration.

For support on these difficult/ complex strategic challenges you have your BearingPoint colleagues to guide you with delivering advice, but also help you in your professional growth

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • work experience in an IT related role
  • experience in either: delivery of complex IT projects with Business-IT alignment, using process, use cases, data and interaction design deliverables, or integration design, using API techniques and Business Information Systems
  • Good communicative skills. You are political sensitive and you are a true conversation partner for our clients in defining the solution.
  • You have great analytical skills
  • Ambitious, openminded and a true entrepreneur
  • Fluent in Dutch and English

 

BearingPoint requires

  • Experience with Business-IT design techniques and technologies 
  • Experience in one of the targeted industry segments (Telecommunications, Energy and FMCG sectors);
  • Client facing, strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels;
  • Results driven self-starter who is used to work in teams;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and fluent in at least Dutch and English.
  •  Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
